We're raising the profile of neuroscience at the very heart of decision-making in UK research.
We engage directly with neuroscientists, enable them to get their voice heard, and – through our policy and advocacy activities – influence on the community’s behalf.
We develop evidence-based policies to help inform decision-making on the key issues affecting neuroscience research across the UK – from responding to government consultations and parliamentary inquiries across the UK to engaging with the key research organisations that set the research environment within which neuroscientists conduct their work.
Our campaigns provide a focal point for the key issues in neuroscience where we aim to encourage change.
The BNA is also an active member of the Parliamentary and Scientific Committee, engaging with Parliament on key research issues.
