The School of Physiology, Pharmacology, and Neuroscience?at the University of Bristol? is?seeking to appoint?Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Neuroscience (ACAD107323). ?Successful applicants are expected to have a track record of high-quality research in that focuses on mechanisms underlying mental health disorders as well as their treatment, ideally adding to our strengths in biological rhythms and sleep, pain, brain plasticity and cognition. We encourage ‘big data’ or ‘Population Neuroscience’ approaches enabling integration of multi-scale biological insights into brain mechanisms and function in the context of inter-individual variability and societal, familial, or age-dependent experience. The successful?applicants?will join a collegial, supportive department with a vibrant research environment and a passion for excellence in research and teaching.? The recruitment of this additional post is due to the growth of the School where we have appointed 6 neuroscience research staff since 2021. The School holds a departmental Bronze Athena SWAN Award.
