We seek freelance Writers with a background in Neurology/Neuroscience for our magazine.

Working with an internationally renowned group of research leaders, our organisation seeks to simplify complex basic and fundamental research, making it accessible to a wider audience both in article and animation format.

Writers:

· Strong academic background in a relevant subject (PhD level )

· Flair for writing outreach pieces: 1-3 years of writing experience essential

· Passionate about science and science communication.

In addition, you must be:

· A confident and accurate writer

· Confident researching and digesting specialist technical media and literature

· Strong interest in science and good scientific understanding

· Concise and clear writer, able to adapt writing style to the agreed target audience

· Able to keep to strict deadlines

· Reviewing and amending work in response to editor feedback
