An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time clinical pharmacist to join the Neurosciences Team at North Bristol NHS Trust. We are looking for an experienced and motivated pharmacist with excellent organisational and team working skills. Experience in the pharmaceutical care of neurosciences patients is desirable but not essential. You will be welcomed into a supportive team and develop expertise in the clinical area.
You will work alongside the Lead Neurosciences Pharmacist and be a key member of the multidisciplinary team delivering and promoting evidence-based, cost-effective and patient-focused pharmaceutical care to neurosciences patients.

Furthermore, you will support work to develop the neurosciences pharmacy service. Hence, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious pharmacist with an interest in service development.

The Institute of Neurosciences at North Bristol NHS Trust is the regional centre for Neurological services. It provides specialised services for a wide spectrum of Neurological conditions.
The service has an excellent national and international reputation, with patient referrals from across the South West, throughout the UK and worldwide.
Using the very latest cutting-edge techniques the Neurosciences team treat a wide range of conditions, Some examples include the use of pioneering deep brain stimulation techniques for the treatment of functional disorderssuch as Parkinson's disease, and developing the use of robotic surgery to deliver drugs directly into the brain with pinpoint accuracy.
We are a large pharmacy department with over 70 clinical pharmacists including many Specialist posts. The clinical ward pharmacy service is well established and provided by pharmacist and medicine management technicians. As part of the new hospital, we have a very modern pharmacy department including the largest dispensing robot in Europe.
