Applications are invited for the post of Professor in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London. This post (along with several others for which we are currently recruiting) will consolidate and enhance the department’s reputation as an internationally leading centre for excellence in research and teaching in Psychological Science and Neuroscience.

We are looking for an outstanding individual with an international reputation for research in their area of expertise. The successful applicant’s track record will include publications in high-impact journals and significant success in grant capture. We are particularly interested in applications from candidates with expertise in social neuroscience, developmental neuroscience or cognitive neuroscience, but applications will be considered from outstanding applicants in any area of Psychology. Expertise in functional brain imaging techniques such as fMRI, or in other techniques such as DTI or MRS, ERP/EEG and/or TMS would be an advantage. The successful applicant will also possess the broad range of skills required to teach effectively across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and should demonstrate strong commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our students.

This is a full time and permanent post based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and Heathrow Airport, and within commuting distance from London.
