Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious, flexible and motivated researcher to join the Translational Neuropsychology Group to help with two projects.

You will help for one day per week with the STAR-MS: a randomized controlled trial of Autologous Haematopoeitic Stem Cell Transplantation (AHSCT) versus Alemtuzumab in Relapsing Remitting cognitive sub-study and for the remaining of your time you will assist with a cognitive and neuroimaging project that focuses on studying the cognitive and neuroimaging (multimodality) markers of preclinical and prodromal Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

The project will be supervised by Professor Annalena Venneri, Department of Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield, but will be in collaboration with colleagues in the MS clinic and Memory and Dementia clinic at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

You should have a good honours degree (or equivalent experience) in Psychology or Neuroscience and a Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Neuropsychology, Neuroscience or Neuroimaging.
