The salary will be paid at Grade 5, £31,883 - £34,525 inclusive of £3,223 per annum London Allowance.
The Centre for Affective Disorders at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience is recruiting a team of highly motivated and passionate clinicians and researchers to deliver an exciting programme of research using the active ingredient of so-called ‘magic’ mushrooms (psilocybin) in healthy volunteers and patients.
The post holder will join the Centre for Affective Disorders at King’s College London, led by Professor Allan Young. The post holder will have a leading role in co-ordinating, managing and delivering an NIHR funded clinical trial investigating psilocybin in treatment resistant depression.
The post holder will work with, and be supervised by Dr James Rucker, consultant psychiatrist and NIHR Clinician Scientist at the Centre for Affective Disorders, and Professor Allan Young, director at the Centre for Affective Disorders. You will additionally work with research nurses at the Clinical Research Facility at King’s College Hospital and other members of the Centre for Affective Disorders at The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 3 years
