The UKRI Mental Health Platform (MHP) is welcoming applications for ECR Fellowship Awards.
The MHP is a multidisciplinary network of researchers focused on severe mental illness (SMI), with the shared aim of improving the diagnosis and treatment of those affected. It comprises six Hubs across the UK, with themes including metabolic, social and genetic aspects of conditions such as schizophrenia, severe depression, and bipolar disorder.
This fellowship is a unique opportunity to develop your research ideas by bringing together two or more Hubs of research at the MHP, and working closely with people with lived experience of SMI throughout the project.
Projects can last for 1 – 3 years and can be funded up to £300k including salary. Applications are open 1st March – 30th April 2025. These fellowships are for individual researchers based in the UK who have not made the transition to independence.
