BNA Event - 15th Nov 2024
The BNA Scholars – a group of students and early career neuroscientists from institutions around the UK – proudly invite you to this specially-programmed symposium focused on exactly the cutting-edge research and funding/employment application support needed to bloom your early neuroscience career.
Ideal for neuroscience students and early career researchers – especially those from underrepresented backgrounds – this symposium will bring you and professionals together to learn, chat and network in a relaxed and friendly environment, surrounded by presentations on the latest advancements in neurotech and translational neuroscience.
Specially designed to connect you with the researchers and industry professionals you want to get to know, the symposium's networking lunch session will give attendees the perfect opportunity to meet and learn directly from speakers and industry professionals – those with recent experience of navigating the research and employment landscape we all find ourselves in.
Special panel and discussion sessions on Lived Experience in Mental Health Research and Neuroscience and Society will also form part of this broad programme, in addition to workshops supporting attendees to hone their concrete skills in applying to PhD programs and securing research grants.
Whether you’re an aspiring neuroscience student, an early career researcher or are simply curious about the future of neuroscience, this symposium is an unmissable opportunity to learn something that is both new and relevant to your future in neuroscience.
