Curator tours of the Anatomical Museum (BAW) - Edinburgh

This is a rare chance to experience a guided tour of the Anatomical Museum and see one of the largest collections of Anatomy in the UK. The museum opened in its current location in 1884, with collections on show that date back to the establishment of the Edinburgh Medical School in 1726. Part of the tour will focus on the museum’s phrenology collection and the attempts by phrenologists to understand the brain in the 19th century.  Free - please book in advance.
