External Event - 7th to 10th Aug 2022
The aim for ICN 2022 is to have a fully inclusive congress which will promote networking and interaction between all members of the international neuroendocrine community. Our intention is to provide a world class scientific programme but to where possible promote fairness and inclusiveity within the neuroendocrine community, through a number of specific travel awards for neuroendocrinologists from developing and low income countries to attend ICN2022 in Glasgow.
To support the next generation of neuroendocrinologists we are proposing both workshops and guided poster sessions and hope to have a specific ‘Early Career Researcher Workshop on New Techniques in Neuroendocrinology’ as a satellite meeting associated with ICN2022. To minimise the environmental impact of ICN2022, we aim to use of state-of the art congress technology to provide a largely ‘paperless’ congress. An electronic programme will be accessed via a dedicated ICN ‘app’ using mobile devices. The app will also serve as a means by which delegates can interact and engage. All food packaging and other materials will be recyclable and non-plastic and we will promote healthy activities throughout the congress including use of the Nextbike’s and a charity run for delegates.
