External Event - 17th Jun 2019
13:00 - 20:00
Bush House, Strand Campus, London
This symposium will bring forward current knowledge on neurodiversity in employment: what drives and prevents the inclusion of neurodivergent people in the workforce.
Speakers will share their expertise and discuss results from initiatives that are driving a positive change in this area, including ACAS, who recently launched their neurodiversity guide, and trade union GMB, who released a toolkit last year.
Speakers from renowned businesses, including CEOs from Siemens and Ernst&Young, and organisations such as Ambitious about Autism and the National Autistic Society will be presenting their work within neurodivergent friendly employment. In addition, academics from UK’s leading universities and autism research centres will discuss the science behind the recommendations and identify needs for future research.
This event is targeted at line managers, social researchers and neurodevelopment researchers.
