Opening a window into the brain (BAW)

This workshop will offer unique opportunities to get acquainted with the anatomical landscape of the brain using microscopic investigation of brain sections from individuals with an history of drug addiction or compulsive disorders.

By observing live both standard and fluorescent labelled brain sections you will learn about the functional anatomy of the brain and the neural basis of psychiatric disorders.

Children will have the opportunity to colour drawings of brain sections as well.
