General information: https://findingada.com/careers/
The fair is free to candidates, who will be able to speak to a range of employers such as ARM, the European Patent Office, Capgemini, Accenture, STEM Women, the Government Digital Service, American Express, and Unruly. The IET is also taking a booth to talk to engineers about ongoing professional development and professional certification.
Employers are interested in employing more women, from recent graduates to women early in their careers, to returners. They are searching for skills from across the STEM spectrum, from biomedical, chemical and pharmaceutical, to software engineering and hardware design, to civil, structural and electrical engineering.
How it works
To take part, all candidates need to do is to create an account and profile with information about education, careers and contact details. On the day, once they're logged in, they will be able to research different employer at their virtual booths booths. If they are interested in an employer, they can request a private one-on-one video, audio or text chat with the recruiters from the company or group. When a recruiter is free, the system pairs them up for the chat, which can be as long or short as they like. After the fair, recruiters follow up, using the contact details they supplied.
