BNA Scholars Design and Host "Brain Sciences Symposium" aimed at supporting Early Career Researchers from Underrepresented Backgrounds

The NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre is holding a new course from 6 to 8 January 2019, the Oxford Short Course in Experimental Medicine for Mental Health, for those with a basic understanding of experimental medicine who would like to develop a more comprehensive and practical grounding in this area.
Covering what you need to learn to develop and conduct experimental medicine studies, sessions address study design, conduct, analysis of pharmacological and psychological studies, as well as industrial considerations and emerging themes.
Aimed at a range of interested parties, including basic scientists and clinical and preclinical staff and trainees, the course is designed for those at the early stages of experimental medicine research, or planning to be actively involved in some capacity the future.
Limited places - Bursary awards available to cover costs of course and accommodation.
