UK Biobank Annual Meeting 2017 – free to attend
UK Biobank is a prospective study of 500,000 people. We have collected a wide range of information including diet, physical activity and genetics on our participants, and we are now in the process of a major study to MRI image 100,000 participants. Genetic data on the full cohort of 500,000 will be available to researchers later this year.
The UK Biobank Annual Meeting is taking place at the Manchester Town Hall on the 29th June. This event is open to health researchers, industry, charities, the public and UK Biobank participants.
Join us in Manchester to find out more about the data being collected – including genetics and linkage to health records – and how to provide your feedback. Hear about exciting research findings already being published through use of the data.
