This conference is an annual one-day event that brings together some of the country’s leading neuroscientists, neurosurgeons and neurologists to share the advances in their respective fields. It is aimed at medical students and foundation year doctors who have developed special interests in neurosciences/neurosurgery/neurology. The idea is to bring students and foundation year doctors together, and allow them to see what an exciting future this field of medicine/science has to offer. In addition, selected participants can present their research in the form of a poster or oral presentation. On top of that, there will also be practical workshops ran by current neurologists/neurosurgeons to allow for more hands-on involvement. We hope these events will spark deep discussion and learning between the delegates and this field.
The conference will aim to explore the dynamic nature of the brain through talks and workshops on plasticity, memory and sleep. Our keynote speakers and workshop guests will present on topics ranging from Rewiring the Connectome to discussion on Memory Impairment in Stroke. Additionally, there will be a poster competition to showcase original student research.
Speakers
