In memory of Colin Blakemore

All of us at the BNA are incredibly sorry to hear of the passing of Sir Colin Blakemore on 27th June 2022.

Colin Blakemore was a renowned neuroscientist, a much respected communicator of science and Emeritus Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Oxford. His contribution to our neuroscience community over many decades has been outstanding and he will be hugely missed.

Our thoughts go out to all of Colin's family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.
