In memory of Cal Shearer

The BNA is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Cal Shearer on 30th October 2024.

Cal had been a valued member of our BNA Scholar community since 2022, studying for their DPhil in Neuroscience at the University of Oxford and excelling in their academic career.

Beyond their academic achievements, Cal will be remembered for their warmth, humour, and commitment to making neuroscience a more welcoming place for all.

Our thoughts are with Cal's family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
