Then becoming a BNA Marketing Assistant for the 2023 International Festival of Neuroscience is just what you're looking for! 

A fantastic way for you to develop your social media, writing and engagement skills, you will have the chance to interview speakers, write for the BNA website/blog or Bulletin, and be part of the Festival team. There are even prizes for those with the highest engagement levels!

What's involved?

To be a BNA Marketing Assistant for BNA2023, you will be expected to maximise registration for the Festival, by means of:

• promoting the Festival across social media platforms, especially Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, and also Mastodon, TikTok, Facebook etc
• promoting at your own institution / place of study to get colleagues and friends to register for the Festival
• coming up with creative ideas on how to promote Festival content and activities (e.g. videos, quotes from speakers, 'how to be #FestivalReady' etc)

How do I apply?

We are able to appoint a maximum of ten individuals. Positions will be filled as soon as suitable candidates are identified, so please feel free to apply at any time. 

We are seeking individuals who:

• can demonstrate a high level of familiarity with, and understanding of, social media 
• has an engaging presence on social media platforms
• has excellent writing skills
• is interested in marketing and communications
• is a science / neuroscience student or early career researcher

Priority will be given to BNA members. If you are not a member, then you can join straight away from just £11!
