Good mental health is more than the absence of a mental health problem. This year, rather than ask why so many people are living with mental health problems, the Mental Health Foundation seek to uncover why too few of us are thriving with good mental health.

In March 2017, commissioned by the Mental Health Foundation, NatCen conducted a survey amongst its panel members in England, Scotland and Wales. This aimed to understand the prevalence of self-reported mental health problems, levels of positive and negative mental health in the population, and the actions people take to deal with the stressors in their lives.

Exam time has come around again in schools across the country, and we all know how stressful that can be.
To help students cope, The Physiological Society has created an animation entitled "Conquering exam stress: lessons from our bodies" aimed at school students showing how stress works in the body, and giving tips for how to take control.
