Do you see what I see?

A team of scientists and philosophers, led by Professor Anil Seth (University of Sussex) and Professor Fiona Macpherson (University of Glasgow), have launched a new online citizen-science study of how we each experience a unique world.

The Perception Census involves a series of fun, interactive tasks playing with colour, illusion, sound, and more.

Participation is easy - all you need is your own computer - and by joining in you’ll help advance the science, and learn more about your own powers of perception. So far, more than 20,000 people have taken part from over 100 countries across the world.

Please do consider joining them - every single person really does make a difference.

Find out more and sign up at perceptioncensus.dreamachine.world and a recent (short) piece Anil wrote in The Guardian. You can also read more about consciousness in Anil’s recent book Being You

The Perception Census is part of the Dreamachine programme, created by Collective Act as part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK.
