The BNA are pleased to offer placement opportunities for undergraduate students completing a neuroscience or related degree.
This is an excellent chance to learn about a career in Academic Administration and Leadership. There is considerable scope for the placement student to generate and trial new approaches. Having the input of a placement student would make a significant difference to the success and impact of the BNA.
Applicants should be undertaking an undergraduate sandwich course in neuroscience or a related discipline, i.e. one which incorporates a year in a placement position (usually the third year of a four year degree course). This placement with the BNA is intended to provide the opportunity for such students to gain experience and understanding of science careers and working within a professional academic science association.
The outline of the placement is below, and full details can be found here.
There are two available places for 2018-19. We anticipate being able to offer two places in each subsequent academic year, but cannot guarantee this will be the case.
